How standings are calculated — updated automatically from live scores.

The basics

  • Each family member owns a set of World Cup teams (drawn at the start).
  • When one of your teams plays, you get a result for that match.
  • Your standing is the total across all your teams.

W / D / L

After full time, each finished match gives:

  • W — your team scored more
  • D — scores level
  • L — your team scored fewer

Scheduled and live matches don't count until the match is finished.

Who's winning?

Leaderboard order (highest first):

  1. Most wins — main ranking
  2. Most draws — if wins are tied
  3. Fewest losses — if still tied
  4. Alphabetical by name — if still tied

There is no points system (no 3-for-a-win). Wins are what matter most.

Scores & fairness

  • Scores sync automatically from public sources every few minutes.
  • Only real team names count — placeholder fixtures (e.g. "1st of Group A") are ignored.
  • Tap a team on the standings page to see its matches and results.
